My name is Josey Koke-a pregnancy & postpartum personal trainer, CFL1 Crossfit Coach, PN1 Coach, Barre instructor, and the list goes on. Over the last several years, I have taken a deep dive into PT and it is where my passion lies.

In 2021, my training changed when my husband and I found out we were expecting our first baby.

At this time, I knew I had to educate myself more on the importance of training during pregnancy, learning more about pelvic health, and the importance of having a strong core.

Fast forward to moving into 2023, I am so eager to help women during all different stages of their fitness journeys.

Strong as a Mother is designed to take you through your entire pregnancy journey and beyond. These workouts are strength training workouts paired with metabolic conditioning and stretching to fully prepare your body for labor & postpartum recovery.

Pregnancy is a time where we have to put our ego aside & to step into a whole new kind of power. I walk you through mindset tips to help you gain confidence in your body & mind.

When I started this challenge, I was worried that I was going to be in way over my head for the workouts.  Flash forward 6 weeks and more than just physical improvements, I feel stronger mentally! I now know that I can do any workout someone puts in front of me, even if it’s moves I’ve never done or lots of rounds that seem impossible! Festive and Fit got me to ask people for help on new equipment, use new spaces of the gym, and prioritize working out 5 days a week which I actually came to enjoy!  I’ve learned a lot, become stronger, and met a bunch of great women who I feel supported me through this challenge! I can’t wait to keep up the motivation and hopefully join the next group!

This is the most consistently I’ve worked out since high school and I feel amazing! I suffer from depression and it’s really easy for me to get in my own head and convince myself that I can’t do something. I’ve really been able to overcome that because I don’t want to be the only one not posting about my workouts in this group! I have so much more energy now and I actually look forward to my workouts.
